- Redness and mild swelling straight after treatment, similar to a light sunburn
- Tightness or sensitivity to touch for a day or two
- Light pinpoint bleeding during the session, which is normal and expected

- Small breakouts as the skin purges in the days following treatment
- Temporary dryness or flaking as the skin renews

- Infection if aftercare guidance isn’t followed correctly
- Scarring or pigmentation changes if needle depth isn’t matched appropriately to your skin, which is why depth is assessed individually rather than fixed
